Topics We Cover

  • Timing and Early Discernment Skills:
Learn about how and why leaving established unhealthy or abusive relationships is difficult.  Learn trauma-informed skills for new and early stage relationships and why it is easier to intervene in early relationships to implement prevention.

  • Red Flags and Predictive Indicators:
Recognize and identify and understand red flag behaviours and the predicative indicators of abuse and violence. Learn to identify and recognize patterns that signal elevated risk and invite—and benefit from— intervention.

  • Triangulation and Pattern Recognition:
How to use triangulation to distinguish isolated behaviours from emerging concerning patterns. Understand why clusters and frequency of red flag behaviours elevate risk.

  • Risk
Gain a deeper understanding of the types of risk that occurs both personally, relationally as well as broader impact.

  • Responding Effectively:
Get concrete skills for taking appropriate steps to safeguard when red flags are occurring and triangulating, seeking support, and implementing appropriate safety measures. â€‹

  • Empowerment Practices:

All workshops are customized for your needs, helping you recognize, respond, and safeguard against neglect, abuse, and violence. Session content and delivery are adapted whether you are an individual or a professional participant.
